“ First time dining here i will say it was very good the service and food. My wife had been coming here as a child she said nothing changed same great food. It is a old hole in the wall family own business. Cant wait to be back. ”
“ Jesus Family Restaurant is incredible! They WERE a BBQ restaurant pre pandemic. Now an amazing Mexican joint! They have been in business for 53 years. The 92 year old grandfather still in the back cooking!! Grandkids running the front. Went yesterday for the 1st time. I HAD THEIR AMAZING CHEESE ENCHILIADAS IN HOMEMADE CHILI SAUCE. Some of the best I've ever eaten! I'll definitely go back often. This is a hidden gem. ”
“ Hole in the wall family place that offers authentic tex-mex at great value. Incredibly huge portions. Amazingly friendly service - the people here make you feel like you're part of the family. Food will fill you up and more. This place is frequented mostly by locals so you know it's good. :) Also they have homemade pies for dessert that sell out quickly. Worth braving a long walk through an empty and dodgy street to get here. The neighborhood is undergoing gentrification. ”
“ I don't know about the BBQ, but the Mexican food and fried chicken are sinfully delicious. ”
“ In my eternal quest for the perfect chicken fried steak, found Jesus Family Restaurant recommended by local paper's food editor. Just a tiny place but here 53 years. 1/2 inch thick tender meat, rich cream Gravy! Tex-Mex awesome, too! They were busy at 3:15 when I arrived. But still excellent service. Apple fried pie for dessert! Yum! ”
“ I can’t turn down cheese and onion enchiladas from a mom and pop Mexican restaurant. The #1 did not disappoint. ”
